What is InternPrep?

InternPrep is an online Learning Management System (LMS) designed to help you pass your upcoming Pharmacy Council of New Zealand Written Examination. We provide 600+ online multi-choice practice questions and simulation examinations. This programme is developed by a team of New Zealand and Australian pharmacists. We have newly registered pharmacists (the 2014 inaugural batch of candidates) reviewing our program to ensure that it provides the level of help that is required for your PCNZ Written Examination.

Internprep is an independent education provider and due to the nature of our service, a conflict of interest is inevitable. For this reason, we are not currently endorsed by the Pharmacy Council of New Zealand or the EVOLVE internship training program. Our aim is to give you an edge over other candidates by providing you with extra practice questions in order to improve your reference navigation skills, calculation skills and to consolidate your law knowledge. We also provide simulation of the exam time pressure so you can have an expectation of the pace required by the exam. We are confident in our Learning Management System (LMS) and hence we offer you a promise: a full refund is guaranteed if you don’t pass the PCNZ Written Examination.

Here at InternPrep, we believe in the continuous commitment for improvement and we strive to provide a program that is customised for you and your needs. For this reason, please do not hesitate to tell us how we can improve this program for you. You are welcome to raise concerns regarding any aspects (including: question types, program structure, support from InternPrep). We have dedicated registered pharmacists ready to help you.

Why was InternPrep developed?

InternPrep was developed to address common concerns that candidates experienced after their written examination in 2014

“Sample papers were not reflective of the real examination”

This was true. In 2014, students were given ONE sample examination paper by PCNZ to help students gain exposure to the types of questions in the examination. However, the law questions were Australian-specific and had no relevance to the New Zealand examination. InternPrep simulates the time pressure of the actual examination and improves your reference navigation skills.

“I found it hard to do the exam on the computer screen. I am used to making annotations while I do the multi-choice”

The actual examination involves answering multi-choice questions online on the computer screen. Many interns found it rather unaccustomed to their usual “written” examination on paper. InternPrep allows you to get ample practice online – just like the exam environment. You will soon be comfortable with doing questions online and be confident on the day.

“I can’t find a way to study for the exam systematically” or “The exam content is too broad, I don’t know where to start.”

InternPrep provides you with a systematic approach to study for the Pharmacy Council Written Examination. We will provide a breakdown the exam content (Written guides – “Anatomy of the examination”). Within a few weeks, you will feel well-prepared for the exam. To ensure this, we will prepare you in a variety of ways depending on the time you have until the exam.  (Written guides - “Time left until the examination – adjusting strategies towards your studying”)

Why should I choose to go with the InternPrep LMS?

1) We are very confident with our Learning Management System (LMS) hence we will deliver you a promise. We guarantee you will pass your exam the first time with our LMS or your money back.

InternPrep acts as a risk-free insurance so you will not have to sit the exam again for the second time. This would save you time, money and psychological stress to prepare for the exam again.

2) You will have a major competitive edge over other students who have not studied with the InternPrep LMS.

3) Our LMS provides you with a systematic approach to study for the exam.

4) We will also provide you with written guides for each section to prepare you with an appropriate mind-set for the examination.

5) Peer responses allow you to gauge your performance against other candidates.

6) Dedicated pharmacists are here to help you at an email away.
